How will the Greater Manchester Mayor fulfil his commitment to end rough sleeping by 2020?

It is top of the list of priorities for the new Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, and is no mean feat! As one of The GM Mayor's Leads for Homelessness and Rough Sleeping with Ivan Lewis MP, Cllr Beth Knowles is fearlessly taking on the challenge and to do so will be stepping down as Partner to The Bureau to focus on and fulfil her role.

During her time as Partner of The Bureau Beth has been highly inquisitive of homelessness and the impact of the arts on homelessness. This opportunity turns her passion and topic of interest into a reality. Alongside a team in the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and the GM Homelessness Action Network Beth will be responsible for meeting the new GM Mayor's commitment to end rough sleeping by 2020.

This will not be the last we see or hear of Beth, in fact The Curiosity Bureau will be cheering her on to support her efforts as she continues to be actively curious and works to radically reduce homelessness over the next ten years with GMCA.
